Create an individual item

  1. Go to Bp Logo Home > Artikel Itemsexpand 32> Neuanlage New.
  2. Enter an Item name and Item group.
  3. Enter information on Purchase*, Sales and Issue units.
  4. Under Pricing, enter prices, VAT rates and validity dates for various price tiers (SSP, SPP etc.).
  5. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to Zusaetze 32 Supplier details to link your sales item to a supplier item. Enable einkauf 32 Purchases* if you want to be able to order directly with the Purchase module.
  6. In the navigation pane, go to Details 48 Item infos to enter ingredients, additives or other information depending on which kind of item group you have selected. If your item contains Artikel Komponent 48 Components or is linked to Adresse 48 Supplier items*, you can copy the information already provided.
  7. If two items are frequently booked together, enter the other item under star 32 Suggested items. The suggestion will pop up every time the original item is booked.

Create a combo item

  1. Enter the name of the item and select an Item group which can contain components (recipe, set menu, buffet etc).
  2. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to the new tab Artikel Komponent 48 Components.
  3. Find existing items by clicking Neuanlage New > Artikel Search item  and add them as components.
  4. To add a new component on-the-fly, go to Neuanlage New > Artikel Komponent 48 Item groups, select a suitable group and enter the name of the new item.
  5. To create a regular item, select Create item and enter all the mandatory fields.
  6. To create a one-off item for singular use in this combo item only, select Cancel.

Create an inventory item*

  1. Enter the name of the item and select an Item group for non-consumables (Cutlery, Technical equipment etc.).
  2. Select a time-based Rate (mandatory, optional, flat).
  3. Tick the box to Enable Inventory management.
  4. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to the new tab Artikel Bestand 48 Inventory > Neuanlage New and enter the number of newly acquired or lost and broken items.
  5. Add setup and teardown times to block items outside of event times, and set an availability alert.

Create a service item (staff role)

  1. Enter the name of the staff role and select an Item group for staff.
  2. Select a time-based Rate (mandatory, optional, flat).
  3. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to the new tab personal 32 Staff member*> Neuanlage New to assign staff members to this job role.
  4. In the navigation pane, go to Barcode 32 Equipment to add any items routinely issued to staff in this role (uniform, tools).
